Linda Fitzgerald Huber and Rep. Vern Buchanan
You can pick your politics but as Keith Fitzgerald well knows, you can't pick your family, even when your politics disagree.
The Vern Buchanan campaign Wednesday took a familial swipe at Fitzgerald, touting an endorsement and subsequent cash contribution from Linda Fitzgerald Huber, sister of the Democratic nominee in the race for the 16th District seat in the U.S. House.
“Vern’s background as a businessman is exactly what we need in Congress,” Huber said in a statement Wednesday released by the Buchanan campaign. “I support his agenda to grow the economy and create jobs while protecting Medicare."
With that quote, Huber responded almost point-by-point to some of the major arguments her brother has made about Buchanan during the campaign.
The news release included the above photo of Buchanan with his arm around Huber, taken during the Republican National Convention last month in Tampa.
Huber, however, won't be able to vote for Buchanan. She lives in Kentucky.
Fitzgerald, who graduated from the University of Louisville, sucked it up and took it like an ever-loyal family member.
"Though I've never loved her politics, I love my sister," Fitzgerald said in a statement released by his campaign.
The Buchanan camp said Huber reached out last month and offered the endorsement.
"We're honored to have her support," said campaign spokeswoman Sally Tibbetts.
ROTFLOL! Why not just spare yourself any further humiliation Keith and withdraw your ridiculous candidacy!
ReplyDeleteSorry, but this woman and buchannan are pretty, pretty low to do this. The itch can't even vote here. Fitz was more than gracious, but hope he gives her a good piece of his mind later. Picture Michael Corleone telling Fredo, you never, take side againist the family, ever. Buchannan is whale doo-doo for his part in this.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if any money passed hands?
ReplyDeleteVern s running against Nancy Pelosi , now he has to go all the way to Kentucky for support
ReplyDeleteTell us about your record Vern
IF KEITH'S PARENTS HIS BROTHERS HIS COUSINS HIS NIECES AND NEPHEWS AND HIS FRIENDS ARE ANY KIND OF REAL AMERICANS THEY WOULD ALSO ENDORSE BUCHANNAN OVER THE OBAMA LOVING LEFTIST LIBERAL FITZGERALD.
ReplyDeleteShe is much smarter than her brother!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHow embarrassing! Fitz's campaign is crumbling before his eyes. At this rate, I wouldn't be surprised to see Vern in a landslide come November.
ReplyDeleteAlso, Keith is a Fredo if ever I saw one, lol.
Huber is from Kentucky: they have their own problems with education, taxes, unemployment. She is also a avid republican whom attended the republican convention in Tampa. DID SHE DO THIS TO SHOW SUPPORT ABOVE ALL ELSE FOR REPUBLICANS. Who knows but her.
ReplyDeleteIf anyone has been to Kentucky they learn that there is a distinct class enforced. They are the rich, very rich, history rich and poor. Sometimes it is like you stepback into pre-civil war times.
It seems Keith grew up along the way and saw people as people. Maybe his sister is still in that grand old south period.
Setting upon family for stangers is right there with protect the south from outsiders at all costs. Even with all the fights I have had over the years with my family: I would never turn on one of them. Run a couple over —MAYBE—- BUT TAKE SOMEONES SIDE OVER FAMILY. Never will happen.
If someone would question Huber ON how much does she know about Buchanan. I think very VERY LITTLE. I OFFER HER ACCESS TO MY NEW WEB SITE http://www.autofraudexpert.com then use Press and Pass to access.
If she reads the inclosed internal and external records, reports and interviews from former partners and employees. Could she then repeat her statements about Buchanan against her own brother. If she is honest with herself and others she will not repeat what she has stated.
Further it shows that Buchanan will do anything to win even destroy a family to get his way. How low can you get Buchanan.
